Kilsyth Heritage Group is a not for profit constituted body that was established in 2009 with the objective of researching and recording the cultural heritage of Kilsyth and surrounding districts for the benefit of future generations.
The group is made up of volunteers from many walks of life with many years of experience in local and family history research. We have produced a number of publications describing the history of Kilsyth and its people.
We also work with other organisation in the area to share experiences and real life stories of people and places.
Currently we are undertaking a project to list all of the street names and their origin for Kilsyth. These will be published in a booklet and we will be undertaking a series of talks to groups in the area to enlighten them on the origins of the area.
