TheRailway Preservation Society of Irelandwas formed in 1964 to preserve Irishsteam locomotives, carriages and rolling stockand to operatethem on the Irish railway network for everyone to see, appreciate, enjoy and travel on. The Society currently has around 1,000membersfrom all across the world and depends on itsvolunteersto keep its stock of steam trains operational.

Our Whitehead Railway Museum is now open to the public. We also offer packages forschools, groups andbusinesses. Tickets are available to purchase at the Museum.
